When it comes to quoting for new projects, we work on a set process that we have been using for many years. Our quoting process enables us to give you a very good idea of cost from your initial enquiry and is followed by a home visit and quote confirmation. Once you have received our quote confirmation, we can build your wardrobe for the price quoted and there are no hidden extras.
This page is an introduction to our Installation service, which we provide to customers within approximately 15 miles of Brighton & Hove. We also provide Supply Only & Design Only services, which cover all of Sussex.
All communication will be directly with Sussex Wardrobes' owner, Dave Golden.
The first step is to discuss your requirements. This can be by email, telephone or a video call. We will take notes of everything, including your storage requirements and initial sliding door preferences.
We have a selection of fitted wardrobe layout ideas to help you get started.
We will then kindly ask you to provide us with some basic information to help us prepare and send you a pre-quote.
Prior to arranging a home visit, we will send you a pre-quote (guide quote). This helps us to understand your requirements, make sure the service we provide is suitable for you and within your budget.
After our initial conversation, all we require to begin are some approximate measurements* and a photograph of your room space.
*Approximate measurements requested are Width (Left to Right), Maximum Wardrobe Depth & Height (Floor to Ceiling).
After you have received our pre-quote, the next step is to arrange a free, no obligation home design visit.
We will take exact measurements, survey your bedroom space and show you examples of our work. We have material samples of our products to make the process easier for you. The visit usually takes between 30-60 minutes.
Once we have visited your home, we will confirm our quote to you by email. If required, this will include any adjustments to the price, design, finish or layout, as discussed during our visit.
Our quotes are fully inclusive and there are no hidden extras. A more detailed summary of what we include in our quotes can be viewed on our Design and Quote page.
On acceptance of our quote, we will send you our deposit invoice/s, as discussed in advance. We then place our orders for any materials or components that will be delivered to you prior to the installation start date. We prepare all other components in our workshop ready to bring with us when installation begins.
We work hard to ensure that disruption is kept to an absolute minimum during the installation process. We are a small team of well organised and skilled craftsmen. With full attention to detail, we work very carefully and efficiently to build our wardrobes, taking great care and pride in our work.
